Hebrews 10:19-25
"19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Its is written that, We have the confidence to enter the most holy place. The Hebrews understand this much more better that us. the Hebrews have 3 divisions of the church where different people can enter.
1st place where all the ordinary people can go.
2nd place where only the priest can enter.
3rd place is considered the most holy place where no one can enter except the high priest and that too he can enter only once in a year.
This is what Hebrews believed, but if we see today, there are no such divisions. You believe it or not at this very moment we are sitting in the presence of God, and the place where there is presence of God is the most holy place. But to experience this it is necessary to be in the presence of God, if somebody is sitting in a church and doesn't have this presence of God in them (with them) they are just like the people sitting somewhere else.
In Psalm at many places it is written that, Many people take a lot of worries and burdens with them and climb hundreds of steps and when they return they rejoice.
In John 14:6
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except though me.
In John 10:9
He say I am the door.
In Romans he says; "We have an access to god through him (Jesus)."
Hence we have an access, we have a new way given to us by god through which we can reach to god. He revels he has the completeness, he has the fullness.
In Ephesians 3:12 it is written that "in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him.
Romans 5:10, " we were enemies of God." We had lost the way, the path we were supposed to walk on.
But Paul says, Jesus came done, took our hands and gave us a way to reconcile with God.
2 Corinthians 5:18-19,
"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to is the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the world of reconciliation."
He has not only made us reconcile with God but has also given us the MINISTRY of reconciliation. We should understand this that it the 1st thing we meet when we start walking on the way that leads to god.
Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
This is the second thing that you meet while walking on the path of coming close to Jesus.
We were living in sadness and we dint knew that how to approach god, but through Jesus he gave us that way. Only by faith in Jesus Christ, you will be justified by God.
1 Corinthians 1:2, "I am writing to God's church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours."
It refers that the church of God that are sanctified in Jesus are called to be holy.
It says anyone can come to me because you are holy, you are sanctified in God, so come and reconcile with God.
Do you feel this, at any moment do you think this that you can't go to god because you are not holy. My dear ones nobody is said to be holy on the basis of the works done by him/her but by Jesus he is holy. We were not holy but the came and made us holy.
Hebrew 10:22, "Let us draw near with a true heart in fill assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water"
Never think that you are not holy, you don't have to go anywhere, you don't have to knock any other door because you can directly come to god at any moment coz he has set us apart, he has made us holy, he has sanctified us and given us a way to reconcile with him.
